SUMMARY:
Conducts litigation matters for all types of disputes involving the purchase and sale of securities. This position handles securities class actions and derivative cases, to include: shareholder disputes, takeover litigation, proxy contests, corporate governance and investment fraud.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Juris Doctor degree required from an accredited School of Law
- G.P.A. of 3.2 or more
- At least 2 years of experience in the field of litigation, securities law in particular
- Strong research, writing, analytical and speaking skills
- Business/Economics or Securities background preferred
- Previous experience in a fast-paced, high pressure environment
- Ability to communicate and work well within a team environment
WORK HOURS
Work may require more than 40 hours per week to perform the duties of the position. Work may require travel.
