MOTLEY RICE MOBILIZES TO ASSIST RELIEF TO KATRINA VICTIMS
Firm To Serve As Local Drop-Off Point For Supplies

Mt. Pleasant, S.C. - September 2, 2005 - Because it is the very foundation of Motley Rice LLC to help those in need, the law firm of Motley Rice in Mt. Pleasant, S.C., has taken the initiative to serve as a drop-off point for relief supplies for the victims of Hurricane Katrina. The firm has contacted government officials in both Mississippi and Louisiana to offer our support and they have expressed their heartfelt gratitude for our community's generosity. Motley Rice has arranged to have supplies delivered to the stricken areas on Thursday, September 8th. The firm invites the community to join in our efforts by bringing donations to the front lobby of its Mt. Pleasant office located at 28 Bridgeside Blvd., off of Patriots Point Blvd. Items being collected include:
  • Adult clothing
  • Bottled water
  • Children's clothing, toys, books, baby shampoo, diapers, etc.
  • Deodorant
  • Non-electric can openers
  • Non-perishable foods, such as protein bars, canned goods, etc.
  • Soap
  • Toothbrushes
  • Toothpaste
