OPENING STATEMENTS IN RHODE ISLAND LEAD TRIAL MOVED TO MONDAY, OCTOBER 31
Mt. PLEASANT, S.C., (October 27, 2005) - Motley Rice LLC, one of the nation's largest plaintiffs' litigation firms, today announced that due to delays in jury selection, opening statements in the much-anticipated trial against the lead paint industry on behalf of the Rhode Island Attorney General, Patrick Lynch, have been moved to Monday, October 31. The trial is taking place in Providence, Rhode Island against defendants NL Industries, Sherwin-Williams, Millennium Holdings and Atlantic Richfield.
