MOTLEY RICE PROVIDES RESOURCES FOR FIRST EVER YESCAROLINA YOUTH ENTREPRENEURSHIP CAMP
Mount Pleasant, SC (June 22, 2007) - Motley Rice LLC has teamed with the College of Charleston to establish the first ever YEScarolina Youth Entrepreneurship Camp for students. The newly formed "College of Charleston/Motley Rice Advanced Biz Camp" is a week-long summer program held at the College of Charleston.
"We are pleased to welcome the Motley Rice Law Firm as a partner in this important endeavor," stated YEScarolina Executive Director, Jimmy Bailey. "The funding and support that they have provided will make this camp a dream come true for many students from across our state."
YEScarolina is a non profit organization established with the mission to teach entrepreneurship to young South Carolinians of all socio-economic backgrounds in order to enhance their economic productivity by improving their business, academic and life skills. YEScarolina provides South Carolina educators with the tools they need to teach entrepreneurship in today's classroom. After the students receive the entrepreneurship training from the teachers, the students are then eligible to attend the newly established camp.
On Wednesday, July 11, 2007, at 12:30 p.m. at 28 Bridgeside in the Motley Rice building, Charleston Mayor Joe Riley and the YEScarolina Board of Directors will host a luncheon to celebrate the creation of the camp and other YEScarolina program successes. President and founder of The National Foundation for Teaching Entrepreneurship, Steve Mariotti, will be the keynote speaker.
