Firm Appoints New Executive Director and Director of Human Resources
MOUNT PLEASANT, SC (January 24, 2007) - Motley Rice LLC, one of the nation's largest plaintiffs' litigation firms, today announced two significant enhancements to its management team - the addition of Roy Neal as the firm's Executive Director, and the promotion of Mina Agujia to the position of Director of Human Resources. Bringing nearly 15 years of experience in financial and operational management to the firm, Neal will oversee all financial and support operations for Motley Rice, including IT, Finance, Human Resources, Marketing, and Operations. As Director of Human Resources, Agujia will report directly to Neal and manage the firm's employee relations, staffing, benefits, training and payroll.

Neal joins Motley Rice from The Ginn Company, specialists in real estate and resort development and operations, where he served as Controller and Financial Analyst for the hospitality division. In this role, Neal was responsible for operational functions related to large mergers, acquisitions and budgetary issues for Ginn resorts and properties in the Southeast and the Bahamas. Prior to his work at Ginn, Neal was an accomplished business owner in the Charleston area for many years. He has also held several CFO/senior management-level positions at such companies as Belle Hall Developers and the Dunes West Golf Club. Neal is a graduate of the College of Charleston.

"We strongly believe that Roy's diverse background, rich in financial and management expertise, will be a great asset to the firm," said founding member Joe Rice. "He shares our entrepreneurial spirit, and we are pleased to have him onboard and look forward to great successes together."

An integral part of the Human Resources department for the past three years, Agujia has most recently been managing the firm's employee benefits package. As Director of HR, she is responsible for the leadership, performance and effectiveness of operations related to employee benefits, staffing, policies, employee relations, compensation, safety and training at Motley Rice. She will also oversee Motley Rice University, the firm's in-house training program. Agujia's background includes nearly 10 years of human resources experience; spanning HR administration to HR management of a 250+ employee organization, including staffing, payroll and benefits services. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Relations from Catholic University, is an active Member of the Society for Human Resources Management, and is fluent in Spanish.
