Fallen firefighters honored on 3rd anniversary of fatal Sofa Super Store fire

As Friday, June 18, 2010 approaches, marking the third anniversary of Charleston, SC’s fatal Sofa Super Store fire, Motley Rice LLC would like to join the local community as it honors the 9 firefighters who tragically lost their lives on this day.

The deadliest fire in South Carolina since 1979 and the worst single incident to claims firefighters’ lives since the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001, the Sofa Super Store fire had a devastating impact on those most closely affected, and we offer our deepest sympathies and condolences to the still-grieving families, friends and colleagues of those who perished.

On this day of remembrance, we encourage all to take a moment to honor these men, pay tribute to their memory and the sacrifice that cost them their lives, and support those who continue to suffer from the immense loss of their loved ones.
