S.C. Supreme Court rules in nursing home case handled by Motley Rice LLC

Motley Rice attorney Kimberly Barone Baden comments on a recent S.C. Supreme Court Opinion (Grant v. Magnolia Manor-Greenwood) ruling that an arbitration clause is not enforceable if the litigant's arbitrator is not available to mediate. The ruling follows a lawsuit filed by Motley Rice on behalf of their client whose wife died after a fatal fall in a S.C.-based nursing home.
