Class action filed over heart defibrillators

Medtronic Inc., the distributor of Sprint Fidelis® heart defibrillator leads, is facing a class action lawsuit for defective design and manufacture of the heart device cables. The suit also claims that Medtronic Inc. knew of its product's health risk but failed to warn consumers.
