Digitek® plaintiffs review production records for additional drug batches

A judge in the Digitek® consolidated litigation has granted the plaintiffs permission to expand the scope of discovery for about 400 cases. The order allows the plaintiffs to review production records for each batch of drugs produced on the same equipment as the batch of Digitek® that allegedly caused toxic levels of the active ingredient in patients. The case alleges that drug maker Actavis Totowa LLC was negligent in its manufacturing practices at the factory.
