Federal court in Rhode Island given key role in Kugel® Mesh suits

Motley Rice attorney Don Migliori comments on Rhode Island’s first multidistrict litigation involving the Composix® Kugel® Mesh hernia repair patches. More than 100 cases regarding this patch are being sent to the U.S. District Court in Providence, RI, for pre-trial proceedings and potential settlement. The lawsuits claim that the patch manufacturer, Davol Inc., made defective patches and waited too long to issue a product recall.
