Libyan jet crash in Tripoli leaves only one young survivor

On Wednesday, May 12, 2010, an Afriqiyah Airways Airbus A330-200 en route from Johannesburg, South Africa crashed at approximately 6:00 a.m. as it was approaching Tripoli International Airport, killing all but one of the 104 passengers on board. The sole survivor of the crash was a 10-year old Dutch boy whose identity is still currently unknown. Investigators are trying to determine the cause of the crash as authorities continue to conduct a search and rescue mission.
