Motley Rice attorneys file lawsuit alleging death damages from Pennsylvania nuclear plants

Motley Rice's environmental practice group filed a federal lawsuit Friday, January 29, 2010, against Babcock & Wilcox Power Generation Group and the Atlantic Richfield on behalf of three Kiski Valley, PA residents who claim that the nuclear plants exposed them to radiation contamination and chemical exposure.

The two companies, formerly operated by Nuclear Materials and Equipment Corp. (NUMEC), operated a uranium fuel processing plant in Apollo and a plutonium plant in Parks between1957 and 1986 and are also facing allegations of trespassing, negligence, misrepresentation and civil conspiracy.
