Motley Rice serves as host site for Red Cross training
MOUNT PLEASANT, SC - Motley Rice LLC, one of the nation’s largest plaintiffs’ law firms, is proud to announce that it will serve as the host site for two American Red Cross “Be Red Cross Ready” training courses on Monday, September 22, 2008 (the 19th anniversary of Hurricane Hugo). The first training will start at 11:00 a.m. and the second will begin at 1:00 p.m. Lunch will be provided to all participants at noon. The training is free but registration is required. The “Be Red Cross Ready” course is an excellent opportunity for individuals to learn what steps they should take to prepare themselves, their families, their households and their work place in preparation for and immediately following a disaster. The 30-minute course will address the timely subject of hurricanes and tornadoes as well as other disasters such as fires, earthquakes, plane crashes, chemical emergencies and homeland security concerns. Additionally, new information regarding the recently announced Carolina Lowcountry Chapter “Join the 1200” volunteer initiative will also be shared.
