Continuing Education Opportunity: Motley Rice sponsors annual 2012 SCAJ Convention

Legal speakers from across the country, along with South Carolina trial lawyers, will gather in Hilton Head Island between August 2 and 4, 2012, for the annual South Carolina Association for Justice (SCAJ) Convention, a 12-hour continuing legal education seminar being held at the Westin Hilton Hotel Resort and Spa.

Motley Rice securities fraud attorney Badge Humphries will co-chair the convention's Consumer/Securities/Environmental and Real Estate Seminar with Brian L. Boger and William E. Applegate, IV. Humphries will also be a panelist for the discussion, "Fee Awards: Ethics and Practice." Additional convention seminar topics include: criminal law, employment law, ethics, torts, negligence, workers' compensation and more.

The 2012 convention guest speaker will be U.S. Senator Al Franken (D-MN). Notable past speakers at the SCAJ annual convention include: Motley Rice co-founder Ron Motley; Court TV host Nancy Grace; Jeffrey Wigand, a tobacco company whistleblower whose story was made into the film, The Insider; and attorneys Johnny Cochran, Vincent Bugliosi and Erin Brockovich.
