NPR interviews Motley Rice attorney Badge Humphries about lawsuit involving Massey Energy Company Board of Directors

Motley Rice attorney Badge Humphries speaks with NPR on Weekend Edition Sunday about a Massey Energy Company shareholder who has filed suit against the company and its Board of Directors, including CEO and Board Chairman Don Blankenship, alleging that it violated the settlement terms of a 2007 shareholder derivative suit. These terms ensured compliance with mine safety and environmental laws, rules and regulations. The lawsuit follows the massive explosion at Massey Energy's Upper Big Branch mine in West Virginia on Monday, April 15, 2010, a tragedy for which many are saying the Board should be held personally accountable.
