Nuclear Contamination Meeting: Media Alert for upcoming town hall meeting

NUCLEAR CONTAMINATION ISSUES TO BE ADDRESSED AT ERWIN TOWN HALL MEETING

May 12, 2011 – Greeneville, Tenn.

What: Town hall meetings are being held to address the potential legal options of people in the Erwin area who believe that operations of the Nuclear Fuel Services (NFS) facility owned by Babcock & Wilcox and its subsidiaries may have caused personal injury, property damage and wrongful death from such factors as radiation contamination and chemical exposure. The goal of the town hall meetings is to empower residents and serve as an open, educational forum for discussion.

When: Tuesday, May 17, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. Free refreshments will be provided.

Who Should Attend: All area residents and anyone who lived or worked near the Erwin plant between 1957 and 2010 are invited to attend.

Why: To address questions and concerns involving potential nuclear contamination lawsuits, radiation contamination, related medical issues and the legal rights of those who may have been affected.
