One year after tragedy, firefighters remembered for their sacrifice

A crowd gathered at the Salisbury-Rowan Firefighters' Memorial to honor the one-year anniversary of the Salisbury Millwork Co. fire that claimed the lives of two North Carolina  firefighters. The Salisbury Millwork Co. fire occurred on March 7, 2008, and, in addition to taking lives, required the help of 49 fire departments and numerous other emergency service agencies in the area.
