Schering-Plough, Akzo Nobel named in NuvaRing® contraceptive device lawsuit
A man claiming that his wife died as a result of using NuvaRing® contraceptive is filing a lawsuit against the drug manufacturers for failure to warn consumers of health risks associated with the drug. Schering-Plough Corp. purchased Organon USA, the original manufacturers of NuvaRing®, from Akzo Nobel. All three are listed as defendants in the case.
