Securities attorney Badge Humphries comments on class action lawsuit against Charles Schwab & Co.
Badge Humphries, a Motley Rice securities attorney, comments on the recent class action lawsuit filed by investors against Charles Schwab & Co. for the company's alleged involvement in a multi-million dollar Ponzi scheme said to have been orchestrated by former Charleston Southern University economics professor, Al Parish. The lawsuit involves more than 50 people in 13 states and is based upon the claim that Charles Schwab served as a broker-dealer for Ponzi scheme victims and is liable for violation of the South Carolina Uniform Securities Act of 2005.
Motley Rice attorneys Badge Humphries and Bill Narwold are among those appointed as class counsel by the U.S. District Court for the District of South Carolina .
