Soil contamination cleanup in Tiverton, RI

In September 2009, the long-awaited cleanup up of contaminated soil in Tiverton, RI, began following settlement made by Motley Rice attorneys and three other law firms with Southern Union Co., the utilities company allegedly responsible for the contamination. This case, Corvello vs. New England Gas Co., was one the the largest and most complex soil contamination cases in Rhode Island history.
