Thousands of patients not told about hernia patch recall
Motley Rice attorney Don Migliori is serving as lead counsel in a class action lawsuit filed on behalf of thousands of patients who were never told about the FDA recall notice placed on hernia repair patches that they received. The hernia repair patch is a device that the FDA says may lead to serious injury, but manufacturer Davol Incorporated notified only hospitals and doctors to whom the patch was sold and failed to directly contact patients about the recall.
