United Airline Flight 967 shaken by severe turblence resulting in more than two dozen injured

While en route from Washington, DC to Los Angeles, CA on Wednesday, July 21, 2010, United Airlines Flight 967 had to be diverted to Denver International Airport after being shaken by severe turbulence that injured several passengers on board and created an immediate need for medical assistance. The plane was able to land safely, but, of the 255 passengers and 10 crew members, approximately 30 people were injured.
