Fatal Atlanta Plane Crash on I-285

On Friday, May 8, 2015, around 10 a.m., a single-engine Piper PA-32 crashed on interstate 285 at Peachtree Industrial Boulevard just north of Atlanta after taking off from DeKalb Peachtree Airport. The DeKalb County Public Safety director said the plane clipped a tractor trailer truck on its way down. Preliminarily reports state four people were in the plane when it crashed.
