Issues surround serving alcohol on planes

Aviation attorney Mary Schiavo tells Kansas City, MO's KCTV how alcohol adversely affects aviation safety and says that alcohol is the top contributing factor to air rage on commercial airlines. While federal guidelines support airlines' right to refuse transport to any person who appears intoxicated or under the influence of drugs, there are currently no guidelines involving the alcohol intake of a person once onboard.
