Aviation attorney Mary Schiavo says pilot training is a factor in regional carrier flights

Aviation attorney Mary Schiavo is featured on CBS' Evening News with Katie Couric regarding the safety of regional carrier flights and says that a lack of pilot training may be to blame for recent crashes. Regional airlines are required to meet FAA guidelines for pilot training, but Schiavo says that those guidelines are merely meant to be the bare minimum for pilots rather than the accepted standard of excellence.
