About the 2023 Elite Trial Lawyers Awards

According to The National Law Journal, the 2023 finalists must have devoted at least 50% of their litigation resources representing plaintiffs. Firms should have received at least one significant plaintiffs’ win within the contest period and possess an impressive record of success within the past three to five years. A “significant win” is constituted by success in a high stakes bench or jury trial or in a major settlement. This year they will also recognize the “2023 Plaintiffs Firm of the Year” for the first time.

The Rising Stars of the Plaintiffs Bar award honors young lawyers “who are up-and-comers in the plaintiffs bar, already demonstrating their litigation prowess, service to the community, and/or impact on their firm.” Read more about the Elite Trial Lawyers methodology here and here.
