Giving back is an essential part of the Motley Rice culture. Our mission is to go beyond the office and courtroom walls to better our community. We sustain local and national efforts by sharing our heads, hands and hearts in working for a better tomorrow. We are proud to be active participants in community service organizations, not-for-profit groups, professional associations, volunteer projects and other charities.
ProjectGO! is our community outreach program that allows employees to donate a workday volunteering for organizations and non-profit groups in need throughout the Lowcountry. Since 2011, ProjectGO! has become an annual event, encouraging year-round volunteer efforts and fostering new relationships within our communities.
This year's ProjectGO! was held on Thursday, May 1 and Thursday, May 8. We were pleased to be working with the following Charleston, S.C.-area organizations:
In addition to the above, Motley Rice offices in other parts of the country are also participated in ProjectGO! by teaming up with a nonprofit in their area: <
Thanks to all non-profits for their participation! We look forward to another great ProjectGO! in 2015. In the meantime, view this recap of the 2014 projects:

While in the midst of our second annual event, Motley Rice also received news that its inaugural ProjectGO! was selected for both the 2012 Communitas Awards and Hermes Creative Awards. ProjectGO! won within the Communitas Awards' Company Sponsored Volunteer Project category, which recognizes companies and organizations worldwide that have changed how they do business to invest in the greater good and better their communities.
The Hermes Creative Awards is also a global competition that honors the architects of traditional and novel media. This competition evaluates thousands of entries from creative professionals involved in the conception, writing and graphic design of materials and technologies. ProjectGO! received the Gold Award in the Community Relations category in the contest for branding, design and event promotion.
