Free Helmets Provided: Join Motley Rice at the upcoming local bike rodeo and safety fair
Motley Rice is proud to support the 5th Annual Bike Rodeo and Safety Fair hosted by Safe Kids Trident Area and the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC). The event will be held on Saturday, May 19, 2012, from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Charleston & American LaFrance Fire Museum and Educational Center in North Charleston, S.C.
Free to the general public, this event attracts more than 500 Lowcountry families each year and offers parents and their children safety and health tips. Motley Rice will work together with MUSC to donate hundreds of bike helmets in hopes of preventing unintentional injuries. These free helmets will be distributed to children who attend while supplies last.
Festivities will include:
- Bicycle safety inspections
- Climbing wall
- Crafts and music
- Dozens of vendors and booths
- Fire and police department safety demonstrations
- National Firefighter Combat Challenge competition
Motley Rice representatives will also provide safety tips and information in support of the Safe Kids' mission to educate consumers on child safety. We welcome you and your family to come out and join us for what is sure to be a fun day!
