Biz Apps Camp: CofC hosts new program for middle and high school students

The College of Charleston (CofC) has joined Motley Rice and YEScarolina to offer the first "Biz Apps" camp, a program designed for middle and high school students interested in technology entrepreneurship with the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) Educational Foundation. The three-week camp teaches students about efficiently using Google applications and cloud computing. Students will also learn how to design and create Android mobile applications for their business projects.

Professor of business and computer science, Lancie Affonso, leads the camp along with CofC computer science students, Joshua Wooten and Joshua Moser. The program is hosted by the Department of Management and Entrepreneurship and the Department of Computer Science, Software Innovations Lab at the College of Charleston.
