Motley Rice Attorney Appointed to Leadership Position in 21st Century Oncology Data Breach Litigation

On Nov. 16, 2016, U.S. District Judge Mary Scriven appointed Motley Rice member Jodi Westbrook Flowers as co-liaison counsel in the 21st Century Oncology data breach consolidation (In re 21st Century Oncology Data Breach, MDL 2737).  

Jodi represents people whose personal and confidential information was compromised in the company’s breach in October 2015. An estimated 2.2 million people, current and former patients of the cancer care company, have been impacted. It wasn’t until March 2016 that the company notified those impacted.

As co-liaison counsel, Jodi will take an active role in the leadership of the multidistrict litigation.
