Motley Rice helping the Make-A-Wish Foundation grant SC child's wish

Motley Rice is pleased to announce that the firm is helping the South Carolina Chapter of the Make-A-Wish Foundation grant the wish of a five-year-old girl at the 4th Annual Wine Festival being held Saturday, May 1, 2010 at Freshfields Village. The little girl whose wish will be granted has a serious heart condition that required a transplant, and she has moved with her parents and three brothers from Columbia to Charleston to be closer to her treatment at MUSC. Her wish to go with her family to Disney World and personally meet Princess Tiana will be granted live and on stage at the festival.

The 4th Annual Wine Festival will take place from 6:00 pm. - 9:00 p.m. on the Village Green at Freshfields village, and tickets include select wines from around the word, Lowcountry cuisine and live music. 

The Make-A-Wish Foundation of South Carolina, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that seeks to enhance the lives of children with life-threatening medical conditions by granting wishes that provide both a joyful and meaningful experience for the children and their families. Since its inception in 1984, the Make-A-Wish Foundation of South Carolina has granted 1,626 wishes and continues to grant more than 125 wishes throughout the state each year.
