2013 ProjectGO! Event: Calling all Charleston nonprofits!

Charleston area nonprofit organizations are invited to submit project proposals by March 5

MT. PLEASANT, SC - (Feb. 20, 2013) - Local law firm Motley Rice LLC is adding a little extra excitement to its annual ProjectGO! community volunteer outreach program for 2013. This year, the firm is asking nonprofits located in the Charleston, S.C., area to submit proposals for volunteer projects with which they need help.

This year marks the third annual ProjectGo!, two special days of firm-wide volunteerism during which employees may donate a portion of their normal office hours towards local nonprofit organizations. In 2012, more than 80 Motley Rice employees participated in the days of service at the Carolina Youth Development Center, Charleston Animal Society, Elliotborough Park and Community Garden and Sandpiper Rehabilitation and Nursing Center.

Attorneys and staff are looking to roll up their sleeves once again two days this spring, Thursday, April 25 and Thursday, May 2, 2013. From animal welfare to youth development to arts organizations—all nonprofits that need help with a project on one of these days and wish to submit a proposal for consideration should contact our firm here.

The deadline to submit completed forms is Tuesday, March 5, 2013. Selected projects will be posted on the firm's website by Friday, March 15, 2013.
