Motley Rice LLC responds to the global outcry for disaster relief aid

Recognizing the immediate need of millions for reliable medical care and clean, safe water in Haiti following the devastating January 12, 2010, earthquake, litigation firm Motley Rice LLC has become a corporate donor to both Water Missions International and Doctors Without Borders. Both are not-for-profit organizations that have had a presence in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, since the 7.0 point earthquake.

In addition to financial support, the firm also hosted "Ready When the Time Comes" corporate volunteer training through the American Red Cross and had three employees volunteer their time at the Charleston International Airport (CHS) to assist with the processing of over 70 evacuees arriving from Haiti. An employee-driven "Hearts for Haiti" fundraiser at the firm's annual Valentine's social raised further funding for Water Missions International.
