Asbestos Education Continues: Motley Rice major supporter of conference

Asbestos lawyers from Motley Rice LLC continue to advocate for asbestos victims by once again supporting the Asbestos Disease Awareness Organization (ADAO) and their annual conference.

The seventh annual International Asbestos Awareness Conference, "Asbestos: Impact on Public Health, Environment and the Economy," will be held April 1-3, 2011 in Atlanta.

Motley Rice mesothelioma lawyer Anne McGinness Kearse said the organization and its conferences commit valuable resources to the fight for asbestos victims. "Asbestos-related diseases remain relevant today, with nearly 3,000 new cases of mesothelioma being diagnosed each year in the United States and Canada, so it's critical that we continue to educate people on this disease and combat the causes. We are humbled and honored to be able to support such an important organization and event. "

Discussion topics include: occupational and non-occupational exposure, national and global asbestos policies, as well as the environmental and economic impacts of asbestos. It will also honor thousands of asbestos victims along with those more well-known like Ron Cyrus, father and grandfather of singers Billy Ray and Miley Cyrus, and songwriter Warren Zevon.

ADAO was founded in 2004 and promotes public awareness about asbestos exposure and asbestos-related diseases through education, advocacy and community involvement around the world.
