Asbestos Policy Debate: Motley Rice member Nate Finch speaks about payments to asbestos victims
On Friday, Jan. 20, 2012, Motley Rice member and asbestos lawyer Nate Finch participated in a policy debate hosted by the Congressional Civil Justice Caucus Academy (CCJCA) regarding the asbestos bankruptcy trust system. Finch, a plaintiffs' lawyer, spoke with James Stengel of Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe about whether information collected during payments made by bankruptcy trusts to asbestos victims should be shared in court cases filed by the same client. Stengel provided the defendants' perspective during this debate.
