Wesley is currently part of the team litigating consumer protection and public nuisance claims against social media companies alleging, in part, that their platforms’ dangerous and addictive platform designs harm youth safety and wellbeing.

While completing his legal studies, Wesley externed with the Contra Costa County Office of the Public Defender. He also served as a research assistant for Dean Erwin Chemerinsky on issues of constitutional law and criminal procedure. Wesley gained experience in numerous litigation areas, including mass torts and human rights, while working as a summer associate for two California law firms. His pro bono work included protecting the rights of foster youth and advocating for police reform. In 2019, he worked as a legislative intern with the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) of Georgia writing policy briefs on issues including redistricting reform, voting rights, justice reform, and reproductive rights.
