A National Overview: Motley Rice to have strong agenda presence at annual Asbestos Litigation Conference

In 2011, more than 450 plaintiff, defense and industry leaders attended Perrin Conferences' Asbestos Litigation Conference: A National Overview and Outlook. Motley Rice is proud that co-founder Joe Rice will once again co-chair this year's conference being held in San Francisco, Calif., from Sept. 10 to Sept. 12, 2012.

This annual conference helps attendees better understand the trends currently driving asbestos litigation and what the future holds for asbestos litigation.

Joe Rice will present on Asbestos Bankruptcy: New Filings, Confirmations and Appeals. Motley Rice asbestos attorney Anne McGinness Kearse will also present on the following topics:

  • Navigating Maritime U.S. Navy Asbestos Cases—Plaintiff and Defense Strategies

The conference will explore recent verdicts, decisions and events in key jurisdictions, including California, Madison County New York and Philadelphia. In addition, the conference will feature voir dire and jury selection, presentation of evidence and closing statement demonstrations with real-time juror reaction based on a mock naval asbestos case.
