Aviation attorney Mary Schiavo comments on fatal South Carolina crash

Motley Rice attorney and former Department of Transportation Inspector General Mary Schiavo comments on a single-engine Lancair IV-P aircraft that lost its propeller on Monday, March 15, 2010, forcing it to make an emergency landing on Hilton Head Island, SC and resulting in the death of a man who was hit while running on the beach. Both the pilot and passenger survived the crash, and Schiavo says that the engine-free aircraft was probably so quiet that the victim never heard it coming.
