Cancer patient blames burn pits in Iraq

Six months after returning to her Arizona home following service in Iraq as a DCMA (Defense Contract Management Agency)worker, Emilye Rainwater was diagnosed with a rare form of blood cancer known as acute myeloid leukemia (AML). Rainwater believes, like many who have filed burn pit lawsuits, that her illness may have been caused by her exposure to massive open-air burn pits during her service abroad.
