Days after Flight 3407 crash, suit seeks air-safety upgrades

Attorney Mary Schiavo has filed a lawsuit on behalf of the National Air Disaster Alliance/Foundation against the FAA and U.S. Department of Transportation for failing to enact airplane safety recommendations, many of which were issued over a decade ago by the National Transportation Safety Board. The air safety group discusses "deja-vu" disasters that could have been prevented had safety measures been taken, and Schiavo warns against prematurely faulting pilot error.
