Jury finds defendants responsible in welding fume trial
First welding fume plaintiff verdict in state court since 2003
Plaintiffs' litigation firm Motley Rice LLC announced today that a jury in The Circuit Court of Copiah County, Mississippi, has found two defendants liable for the injuries suffered by welder, Stanley McLemore, as a result of the failure to warn of the dangers associated with welding consumables. The jury awarded more than $1.8 million to the plaintiff. Defendants in this case Include ESAB Group, Inc. and Lincoln Electric Company.
