The Super Lawyers list recognizes only five percent of lawyers in the United States and spans more than 70 practice areas, evaluating contributions to and leadership roles in the legal profession. Selections are based on an extensive rating process that relies on peer nominations and evaluations, as well as third-party research. The Rising Stars list names lawyers who are 40-years-old or younger and have been practicing law for ten years or fewer. Less than three percent of lawyers in each state receive this honor. Both lists are published nationwide in Super Lawyers magazines and in leading city and regional magazines across the country.
