The D&O Diary reports Galleon founder and hedge fund manager Rajaratnam involved in more legal developments
Motley Rice LLC has filed a lawsuit against Galleon Group founder, Raj Rajaratnam, and his father on behalf of victims and survivors of Sri Lankan LTTE (Liberation Tigers of Tamil Elam) terrorist attacks. The complaint alleges that Rajaratnam, as well as the foundation managed by his father, knowingly provided millions of dollars to the Tamil Tiger terrorist group that were used to finance terrorist attacks. The case is Krishanthi et al v. Rajaratnam et al. and is filed in the U.S. District Court, District of New Jersey.
