Judge denies defendants' request to depose FBI in 9/11 suit

Southern District Judge Alvin K. Hellerstein has ruled that the defendants in an on-going 9/11 case will not be allowed to question six FBI agents who investigated the 9/11 terrorist attacks. The defendants, airlines, security companies, and the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey,are being sued for alleged negligence that may have contributed to the attacks. The plaintiffs are families of 9/11 victims who turned down the Victim Compensation Fund in favor of going to trial.
