Judicial Symposium on Civil Justice welcomes Motley Rice attorneys as speakers
Beginning on Sunday, December 5, 2010, George Mason University School of Law began its 5th Annual Judicial Symposium on Civil Justice Issues. The symposium lasts through Tuesday, December 7, 2010, and is being held at the Mason Inn Conference Center and Hotel in Fairfax, Virginia.
Motley Rice members Nate Finch and Fidelma Fitzpatrick were invited to speak at the event, which provides presentations and debates surrounding current and emerging civil justice issues to an audience of more than 125 judges from the state and federal judiciary.
Finch is speaking on Monday, December 6, 2010, from 2:40 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. as part of a panel discussion entitled Asbestos Bankruptcy Trusts and Their Impact on the Tort System.
Fitzpatrick will speak with a panel on a presentation entitled The Role of the Civil Justice System in Allocating Societal Risk on Tuesday, December 7, 2010.
