Lip Syncing for Lungs with the American Lung Association

Motley Rice attorney Lance Oliver will step away from his work as a trial lawyer for one night to compete in the American Lung Association in South Carolina’s newest fundraising event, Lip Sync for Lungs.

The ALA event aims to raise money through friendly competition to improve lung health and prevent lung disease through education, advocacy and research.

Lance is one of six contestants in the live competition on Jan. 25, 2017 at 7 p.m. at the American Theater in Charleston, S.C.

Inspired by his late grandfather who passed away from smoking-related diseases in his early 60s, Lance says, “I will happily embarrass myself if it means I can help bring awareness to lung diseases. This event is a fun way to bring attention to serious and debilitating conditions while supporting Motley Rice’s dedication to Causes, Not Just Cases®.”

Motley Rice is proud to support the American Lung Association in South Carolina as the title sponsor of the event as it is a cause that the firm has deep roots in supporting, including representing people with lung diseases from toxic exposure to tobacco products and asbestos as well as from toxic exposures in the workplace.
