Attorney Marlon Kimpson interviewed about putative class action lawsuit against Airtran Airways, Inc.

Motley Rice member attorney Marlon Kimpson speaks with reporter Carolyn Murray on Comcast's Newsmakers about a putative class action lawsuit that Motley Rice filed in South Carolina on March 22, 2010, against Airtran Airways, Inc. The lawsuit, Sandie Mallard v. Airtran Airways, Inc., was filed on behalf of putative class representative and South Carolina teacher Sandie Mallard and alleges that the low-cost carrier's negligence, breach of contract and negligent misprepresentation cost her thousands of dollars when it failed to operate a flight for which she had already paid. Kimpson says that numerous others may have experienced similar financial loss resulting from Airtran's business practices.
