ILEP Annual Symposium: Securities lawyers to join Judge Hellerstein, Feinberg and others in legal panel discussions

Motley Rice members and securities lawyers Don Migliori and Mark Labaton have been invited to speak at the Institute for Law and Economic Policy's (ILEP) 18th Annual Symposium, "The Future of Class Actions." The event will be held from Thursday, April 26 to Friday, April 27, 2012, at the Regis Bahia Beach Hotel in Puerto Rico.

Migliori will participate in a panel on Friday entitled, "The Role of the Court in Aggregate Litigation." Moderated by Nicholas Chimicles of Chimicles & Tikellis LLP, the panel's  presenters include the Honorable Alvin Hellerstein of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York; Professor James Henderson, Jr., of Cornell University Law School; and Professor Aaron Twersky of Brooklyn Law School. Migliori will join fellow commentators, Professor Howard Erichson of Fordham Law School and Professor Tobias Wolff of the University of Pennsylvania Law School.

Also on Friday, Labaton will moderate a panel entitled, "Mass Claims in the Modern World." Kenneth Feinberg of Feinberg Rozen LLP and Joseph Sellers of Cohen Milstein LLP will serve as commentators for this panel. Presenters include Professor Beth Birch of the University of Georgia Law School; Professors  Sam Issacharoff and Troy McKenzie of New York University Law School; and Professor Robert Klonoff of Lewis & Clark Law School.
