Pelvic Mesh Conference: Motley Rice medical lawyers to speak on litigation issues
Motley Rice's medical practice group leader Fred Thompson will co-chair HB Litigation Conferences' upcoming Transvaginal Mesh Litigation Conference being held Tuesday, Oct. 4, 2011, at the Ritz-Carlton in Amelia Island, Fla. He and Motley Rice medical lawyer Fidelma Fitzpatrick will also serve as conference speakers, addressing such topics as the uses and history of transvaginal/pelvic mesh (TVM), as well as case theories and settlement opportunities.
Additional agenda topics include:
- Alleged patient injuries and related therapies/treatments
- Important case intake information and discovery considerations
- Recent FDA activity, the manufacturers and relevant studies
- State litigations and MDL update
