South Carolina Association for Justice annual conference to have Motley Rice attorneys speak

Motley Rice attorneys Anne Kearse, James Ledlie, David Hoyle and Badge Humphries are among the state's trial lawyers scheduled to speak at the South Carolina Association for Justice (SCAJ) annual conference at the Westin Resort and Spa in Hilton Head, SC. This convention is a 12-hour Continuing Legal Education (CLE) seminar that tackles issues affecting trial lawyers from South Carolina. Topics include ethics, torts and negligence, workers compensation, employment law, social security, criminal law and environmental law. Kearse, Ledlie and Humphries will participate and speak in the Environmental Law and Toxic Torts Seminar on Thursday, August 5, 2010.

SCAJ was founded 40 years ago by a small group of trial attorneys who sought to protect civil justice for South Carolina citizens through issue advocacy, CLE and social activities. SCAJ now accommodates roughly 1,300 members throughout the state and maintains its initiative to "bring the trial bar together."
